Burket Web Design, LLC (“Burket Web Design,” “we,” “us”) is a digital marketing agency based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. As part of our work, members of our sales team contact local businesses by phone and email to introduce our services. This policy explains what information we use for that outreach, where it comes from, how we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Who We Contact

Our outreach is directed at businesses, not consumers. We contact business owners, managers, and publicly listed business phone lines regarding services that may benefit their company, such as website design, local search visibility, social media management, and customer communication tools. We do not conduct residential telemarketing, and we do not use automated dialers, robocalls, prerecorded messages, or bulk text campaigns. Every call is placed manually by a real member of our team.

What Information We Use and Where It Comes From

The information we use for outreach is business contact information available from public sources. This includes a business’s name, category, address, publicly listed phone number, website address, publicly posted email address, business hours, and publicly visible review information. These details come from sources such as Google Business Profile and Google Maps listings, OpenStreetMap, the business’s own website or social media pages, and occasionally referrals. We do not purchase consumer data lists, and we do not collect personal information about individuals beyond what a business has chosen to publish about itself.

How We Use It

We use this information to determine whether our services might genuinely help a business, to place introductory phone calls, to send individual introductory emails written by a member of our team, and to keep basic records of our conversations so we do not contact anyone more often than appropriate. Notes from our calls are stored in our internal customer relationship system, which is hosted on servers we control and is accessible only to authorized team members with individual accounts.

Caller Identification

Our calls display a genuine, dialable phone number belonging to Burket Web Design. Depending on the region we are calling, this may be our Pennsylvania number or our Florida number. If you miss a call from us and dial the number back, you will reach our team. We never disguise or falsify our caller ID.

Call Recording

We do not record sales calls. If that practice ever changes, calls will begin with a clear notification and will proceed only in accordance with the consent requirements of your state, including the all-party consent laws of Pennsylvania and Florida.

Your Choices: Opting Out

If you would prefer not to hear from us, tell us once and we will stop. You can say so on any call, reply to any email, or contact us using the details below. When you ask to be removed, we add your business to our internal do-not-contact list within one business day, suppress your number and email from all future outreach, and retain only the minimal record needed to make sure we honor your request going forward.

Service Providers

We use a small number of reputable service providers to operate our outreach: Twilio, Inc. carries some of our outbound calls; Google LLC provides business listing data and our email infrastructure; and our customer records are stored on hosting we manage. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We do not sell, rent, or share business contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention and Security

We keep outreach records only as long as they are useful for maintaining an accurate contact history, and we periodically remove stale records. Access to our systems requires individual authorized accounts, passwords are stored using modern one-way encryption, and connections to our systems are encrypted in transit.

Compliance

We conduct our outreach in a manner intended to comply with applicable federal and state communication laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, and Pennsylvania telemarketing regulations. Because our calls are manually dialed, business-to-business communications, many telemarketing restrictions do not apply to them; we nonetheless honor every opt-out request regardless of legal obligation.

If our calling practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes, such as the introduction of call recording, will be reflected here before they take effect.
