Proposal for Eclips Salon & Spa
Forty years of reputation. Time to get it found online.
259 reviews. A 4.9 rating. The salon in Altoona since 1985. You have already done the hard part, which is being genuinely good at this for four decades.
What is missing is the plumbing that puts that reputation in front of the people searching right now. That is a good problem to have, and a very fixable one.
01 The audit
Six AI assistants, and none of them mention you yet.
More people start their search here every month. These tools pull from profiles set up to feed them the right signals, and nobody has set yours up for it yet. Almost no salon in Altoona has, which is exactly why it is worth doing first.

02 The audit
There are another 145 reviews sitting in your appointment book.
Your rating is excellent. A 4.9 across 259 reviews beats almost anyone in the county. The only gap is volume, and volume comes from asking consistently.
You have served 12,500 customers. Most salons never set up a system for asking, so this is not something you missed, it is just something nobody built. Once it runs automatically after every appointment, this gap closes quickly.
03 The audit
Fourth on the map, with clear room to move up.
Where you place today when somebody in Altoona searches, measured across a grid of your service area. Fourth is a strong position to build from.
! Worth being straight about
A new website on its own will not move these numbers.
The site is due for a refresh and it is worth doing properly. But a redesign by itself will not move you up the map, will not grow your review count, and will not get you into those AI answers. Those take ongoing work. I would rather be straight about that now than build you something lovely and leave you wondering in six months why the phone sounds the same.
04 The website
Sixteen pages, rebuilt properly.
Everything you have now, carried across and modernised. Nothing lost, nothing you have to rewrite.
Custom design, built for Eclips
Not a template with your logo dropped in. Your teal, your photography, your team. Designed on the phone first, because that is where three quarters of your visitors arrive.
All sixteen pages migrated
Welcome, Our Staff, the ten service pages with their pricing tables and galleries, Products, About, Savings Programs, Policies and Contact. Restructured so it is easier to read and easier to find.
Custom header and footer
A services menu that works on a phone, hours and address always visible, and your online booking link where people can actually see it.
Search foundations
The four quick fixes above, handled. Real page titles, descriptions and headings using the terms people actually search, plus salon schema so Google understands exactly what you offer.
The details that get missed
Forms that actually arrive, click-to-call on mobile, analytics connected, and redirects from every old URL so you keep the rankings you already have.
You own all of it
Domain, hosting and files stay in your name. A short walkthrough video and the logins at handover. If you ever want to work with somebody else, you hand them the keys and walk away clean.
05 Two ways forward
Fix how it looks, or fix whether anyone finds it.
Both are honest options. The first is a better website. The second is a better website plus the ongoing work that changes where you rank.

3-month term, then month to month
Why Option B costs less for the website, not more
Over the first three months Option B comes to $1,997. Of that, $1,347 is the Real Local work at its normal price. Which means the website itself works out at $650 instead of $950 — the retainer carries part of the build, so you save $300 on the site and get three months of local search work you would otherwise be paying for separately.
And your monthly goes down after month three, not up. $499 while the build is being paid off, then $449 from month four.
06 What it has to earn
Five appointments a month covers it.
At roughly $95 a visit, the ongoing $449 is covered by about five appointments. A colour client who comes back six to eight times a year is worth somewhere near $600 on her own. With fourteen stylists, five extra bookings a month is a small number. The maths works comfortably. The only real question is whether now is the right time to start.
07 How it runs
Three weeks to live. Then the ongoing part starts.
The actual sequence, with the actual timing. If something slips you hear it from me before you have to ask.
Week 1
Structure and words
One short call, then I map all sixteen pages and write the copy. You approve it in a shared document before anything is designed.
Week 2 to 3
Design and build
Built on a private link you can watch fill in. Two rounds of changes, sent in one batch each time so nothing gets lost.
Launch week
Live and handed over
Forms tested from a real phone, analytics firing, old URLs redirected. Walkthrough video and logins are yours.
Ongoing
The visibility work
Profile rebuilt in the first two weeks, review system live by week three, citations cleaned across the first six weeks, first full report at day 90.
08 Who I already do this for
Fifteen local businesses already trust me with this work.
Across Blair County and Western Pennsylvania, since 2019. I would rather you hear how it goes from them than from me.
Ty was absolutely amazing building our website and expanding our online presence. He is professional, quick, and provides top quality service.
The attention to detail and professionalism is top notch. My expectations were blown away.
Ty's ability to listen to his client's needs and deliver on their vision sets Burket Web Design apart.
All three are verified Google reviews. Names and companies included, because unattributed praise is worthless.
Pick an option and I will send the scope.
No payment now and nothing is binding. Choosing here tells me which direction to write up, and I will send a proper scope of work with dates and terms within one business day.
Goes straight to Ty. No payment details, nothing binding.
Got it, thank you.
I will put the scope of work together and send it across within one business day. If anything is urgent, call or text me on (814) 656-8597.
09 Fair questions
The things worth asking.
Do we lose our current Google rankings when the site changes?
No, provided the redirects are done properly, and they are included. Every old page gets pointed at its new equivalent so the ranking you have earned carries across. Skipping this is the most common and most expensive mistake in a redesign, which is why it is on the list rather than an extra.
What do you actually need from us?
One twenty-minute call at the start, and about an hour of your attention spread across three weeks to approve the page plan and the copy. I write the words based on what is already on your site plus that call. You do not have to write anything.
Can we start with Option A and add the rest later?
Yes, and plenty of people do. The only thing worth knowing is that the $500 build price in Option B is tied to the ongoing commitment. If you take Option A now and add Real Local in six months, the website is $950 and the monthly starts at the normal $449.
What happens after the three months on Option B?
Your monthly drops from $499 to $449 and you move to month to month with 30 days notice. No cancellation fee. The three months exists because local search work takes about that long to show anything real, and judging it at thirty days would tell us both nothing.
Why one salon per market?
Because I cannot honestly rank two Altoona salons against each other, so I do not take both. Once Eclips claims it, the next salon that calls gets told no. That costs me real money every month and it is the only version of this work I can defend on a phone call.
Who owns everything?
You do. Domain, hosting and website files all stay in your name, and your Google profile is yours throughout. If you ever leave, you hand nothing back and I keep nothing.
